Please be advised that Beaver County, in concert with Tyler Technologies, Inc., has initiated a plan to begin data collection for the purposes of the countywide reassessment.

Data collectors will be visiting and collecting information relative to individual properties beginning July 2, 2020.  The majority of the data collection is expected to be conducted within three weeks from this date, however, this process will continue until July 2021.

Data collectors will carry identification, including badges with their names.  Data collector vehicles will be identified by a Tyler Technologies, Inc. placard placed upon the dash.  Hours of operation will be between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.  No data collector will request or otherwise attempt entry into the interior of any improvement.

Spotted Lanternfly

The Spotted Lanternfly, an invasive plant hopper, has been discovered in in the local area.  It is native to China, India, Vietnam, and introduced to Korea where it has become a major pest.  The insect attacks many hosts including grapes, apples, stone fruits, and tree of heaven and has the potential to greatly impact the grape, fruit tree, and logging industries.  Early detection is vital for the protection of Pennsylvania businesses and agriculture.
